Meet Jenny Marshall: Early literacy educator

Jenny Marshall is a Sydney-based teacher and writer with extensive experience in early literacy education. Drawing on her teaching background, Jenny creates adaptable, curriculum-aligned resources designed to empower parents and support teachers working with children who are learning to read. Using an interactive, evidence-based, multi-sensory approach, Learn to Read with Cami resources have been carefully crafted to delight young learners.

Inspired by her experience of working with children with reading difficulties and disabilities, Jenny’s debut picture book Cami and the Lost Letters is both a tale of resilience and adventure where Cami’s quest to find the lost letters serves as a metaphor, acknowledging that children learn to read in their own way and in their own time.

Through this unique blend of teaching, storytelling and play-based learning, Jenny aims to improve the early literacy development of young learners and inspire a lifelong love of reading in every child, building self-esteem and boosting confidence along the way.
